Creation of Khalsa - A Tunring Point

'Creation of Khalsa - A Turning Point' is a wonderful book on the subject. It was originally written in commemoration with the Tercentenary of the Creation of Khalsa which fell in year 1999. At that time the title of the book was the 'Creation of Khalsa, a Turning Point' but subsequently some more information was added in its second segment highlighting the impact which the creation of Khalsa left on historic, social, spiritual and political set up of the country. The book is so highly acclaimed by the readers that it is printed many times in a very huge quantity running into lakhs. It's Punjabi and Hindi versions also won the hearts of the readers and during Baisakhi every year its two or three editions are printed to cope with ever increasing demand. The book very systematically unfolds the events which led to the Creation of Khalsa and the reader feels immensely enriched when it goes through the book. It is a miracle that Guru Gobind Singh ji by creating Khalsa energised 'Sparrows' to spurn the 'Hawks'. In the year 1999 through out the Sikh world this small book was considered the most prestigious and a valuable document throwing sufficient and useful light on the subject for which it was penned down. Keeping in view the importance of the subject and material of the book, a portion of it is preserved by B.B.C. London in its archives. The book is available in Punjabi and Hindi too.
